The idea for “Low Expectations” was birthed when CHOD was working on an art project that felt stagnant and boring. He wanted to feel the joy of just creating art for fun sake with no expectations other than to just have FUN! Three pieces were created and they all had one similarity; they all had characters from Pop Culture. Just with a different take on them. Other than just stopping and moving on to the next thing, he started to think of the different possibilities for adaptation. And the idea to put them all together for a show. CHOD has since produced 20+ pieces for the show and approached 17 sensational Cleveland based artists to contribute 1 to 2 pieces each. The object is to bring joy to the artists in creating these pieces and to the viewing public in experiencing them. With this lineup of artists this could be the MOST FUN you have at an art show in 2023! Oh wait, never mind, “Low Expectations”.
